The question (or issue caused by) of using refilled or remanufactured printer supplies often presents itself while I am working with clients. To be clear, it is my position to NEVER recommend refilled or remanufactured printer supplies when the customer desires the best print quality and equipment reliability. This is because no matter what anyone tells you, the manufacturers supplies DO work the best in their equipment. There simply is no argument with the years of real life, quantifiable experience I have in dealing with this.
With that said, there are instances when a customer may make the business decision that refilled or remanufactured supplies are the way to go. This can be for several reasons based on cost, printer use, output needs, etc. My only suggestion is that you consider that the definite cost savings that come with purchasing these supplies also comes with reduced performance and reliability.
If you do make the decision to purchase refilled and remanufactured supplies there is ONE company I recommend you use. I am not affiliated with, nor profit from, any business you may do with this company, but I haved used this company in the past for my own needs. The company is LD Products, Inc. You can find them at http://www.ldproducts.com/ or on Amazon. LD has excellent pricing and the best quality I have found in this type of supply. They also have very good customer service and a generous return/service policy.
Again, before choosing a recycled product make sure you are willing to live with the possible consequences that may affect your printing and business performance. Is the cost savings worth the possible hassle or repair costs? In the end, this is a business decision you will need to make. If you do choose a recycled or non-OEM product, LD Products is the way to go.
